**Job Title: Mixing Technician** **Job Description** The Mixing Technician is responsible for the initial stage of the production process, which involves preparing chemical formulas in tanks that are then pumped into barrels for the film coating process. This process provides the film with its appearance, durability, and purpose. **Responsibilities** + Understand and operate the DCS System in the chemical room. + Accurately weigh and add required chemicals to mixing tanks. + Maintain inventory of supplies for the coating department. + Keep the mixing and chemical storage areas clean and free of debris. + Mark all chemical containers and hazardous waste containers according to federal and state regulations. + Clean all tank filters as per the operation manual. + Keep accurate records of the mixing process and report any abnormal conditions to the Production Manager. + Operate a forklift as necessary. + Handle and manage hazardous waste safely after appropriate training. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in machine operation, mechanical functions, and material handling. + Experience with rolling, rewinding, or slitting operations is ideal. + Strong attention to detail and ability to measure accurately for quality purposes. + Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, division, and reading bar graphs. + Computer proficiency for inventory documentation, using Excel and company software. + Ability to work with common fractions, decimals, and drawings. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a small, family-like atmosphere where the staff has substantial tenure.
