**Job Title: MJF Operator** **Job Description** The MJF Media Operator is responsible for media blasting parts according to the Job Sheet requirements and supplied drawings. Parts must be media blasted at a high quality with all powder removed, meeting the Finishing Department expectations. **Responsibilities** + Perform work instructions as detailed in the Job Sheet. + Compare actual part to job sheet/drawing to verify features, basic measurements, and insert locations. + Visually inspect parts for defects. + Remove powder and hand finish individual parts. + Utilize various hand tools, media blasters, and techniques to achieve a finishing level which meets the customer’s specified quality standards. + Reject any part that cannot be repaired to the customer’s needs. + Notify Supervisor of any questionable materials. + Log times on build traveler. + Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE. + Promote a positive work environment. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of machine operating or sand blasting experience. + Ability to read, understand, and execute work according to detailed job instructions. + Production experience. + Attention to detail. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Organizational skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work with a team. + Multitasking. + Ability to accomplish tasks without constant supervision. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand tools, blueprints, and quality assurance. + Experience with inspection, sandblasting, and finishing techniques. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values a positive work environment and promotes teamwork.
