As we embark on our digital transformation journey with the implementation of a new enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, we’re seeking a talented Digital Asset Management Librarian to join our team.

Position Overview
As our DAM Librarian, you’ll be the architect of our digital asset ecosystem, managing a vast library of hundreds of thousands of assets including:
High-resolution product and event photographyDesign files (source files and final artwork)Marketing collateral and campaign materialsVideo content and motion graphicsWeb-optimized assets and graphicsWritten content and documentationBrand guidelines and style guidesResponsibilities
You’ll ensure seamless access to this extensive collection across all global markets, playing a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the foundation of our digital asset strategy while enabling efficient collaboration between our creative teams, marketing departments, and international offices.
A Day in the Life
Lead the implementation and adoption of our new enterprise DAM system, working closely with stakeholders to establish best practices and workflowsDesign and maintain an intuitive taxonomy system that accommodates our diverse brand portfolio and multi-market needsCurate and organize digital assets across all file types and formatsTrain and support teams across different time zones on DAM system usage and best practicesCollaborate with our creative teams to ensure all new assets are properly tagged, categorized, stored, and made accessibleMonitor asset usage rights and expiration dates across our global marketsGenerate insights on asset utilization and user behavior to optimize our digital asset strategySpearhead the relationship with our DAM vendor to address technical issues, updates, and feature requestsEvaluate and implement system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements (e.g., API capabilities, CDN performance)Define and enforce processes for asset updates and version control to prevent outdated or duplicate usagePeriodically audit assets to confirm relevance, compliance, and branding accuracyQualifications
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in library science, information science, or related field3+ years of experience in digital asset management or similar roleProven experience in taxonomy development and metadata managementFamiliarity with creative operations, marketing, or publication managementStrong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systemsExcellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple prioritiesExceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to file architecture and demonstrated ability to design and maintain complex hierarchical systems with meticulous attention to detailOutstanding communication skillsPreferred Qualifications

This is an on-site position based at our global headquarters in Idaho Falls, ID. Due to the collaborative nature of the role and the need for close interaction with our creative and marketing teams, working from our headquarters is essential to the success of this position.
This position reports to the Creative Production Manager and will work closely with our Creative, Marketing, and International teams.
