MLOps Engineer
 

As a ML Ops Engineer in the Data Science and AI team, you will support the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of machine learning models within ASICS' AI initiatives. You will focus on building and maintaining scalable MLOps pipelines while collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions and contribute to the successful implementation of AI projects within ASICS.

How you will help us:

Based in our Hoofddorp office and reporting to the Director of Data Science and AI, as part of the role you will:

Design and implement scalable MLOps pipelines to automate the training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models. Utilize at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) to support large-scale datasets and deploy machine learning models effectively. Implement robust monitoring and logging systems to track model performance and facilitate troubleshooting in production environments. Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and optimize ETL pipelines that ensure data quality and availability for machine learning workflows. Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes collaboratively, participate in code reviews, and maintain code quality across projects.

What we are looking for:

Experience in ML Ops. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in MLOps, DevOps or similar roles, possessing a strong foundation in cloud platforms, data handling, and version control practices. Programming and ML framework experience. You have excellent proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and are familiar with MLflow or similar ML experiment tracking tools. DevOps and deployment technologies experience. You are familiar with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect), Snowflake and AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3) and have experience with version control systems (e.g. Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform for infrastructure automation. Excellent problem-solving skills. You have great attention to detail and are able to solve complex problems and adapt to rapidly evolving ML technologies while maintaining a good understanding of data privacy and security best practices. Great collaboration skills. You are comfortable communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
