Position Summary:
 
Performs a variety of waived, moderately complex, and highly complex tests on patients of all ages as defined by CMS-2226-F: 42 CFR 493 Medicare, Medicaid, and CLIA programs, Interpretive Guidelines for Laboratories, Appendix C, and Subpart M.  Applies principles, theories and techniques according to Laboratory Practices and Procedures to produce accurate test results in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.

 


Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent and graduate from a one year medical laboratory or clinical laboratory training program approved by the ABHES, CAHEA or other organization approved by HHS.
     
Required Certification:
Certification with American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or successful completion of certification within 12 months of employment.
