McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a MLT for its North Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: performing laboratory tests classified under CLIA-88 as highly complex, moderately complex or waived, in all sections of the laboratory under minimal supervision in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Employee-Level Vision Related Behaviors. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefits package

Education 

Associate degree in medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and/or successful completion of a recognized course of study in Clinical Laboratory Technology.

Certification/License

Certification, or eligibility for certification, as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.

Days: Monday - Friday 

Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a hospital or clinic setting as an MLT.
