Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Validation Scientist to join our core laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating new Sysmex analyzers and corresponding LIS software, ensuring that all validation processes and instrumentation support are conducted efficiently and accurately.
ResponsibilitiesValidate new Sysmex hematology test systems and corresponding LIS software.Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to complete required validation for new instruments.Write standard operating procedures in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and quality systems.Conduct testing of dry and wet validation samples.Essential Skills5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Medical Technology or a related field.Experience with Sysmex equipment and validation processes.Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MT).Experience in hematology.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with automation line integration.Experience in SOP/technical writing.Experience in both hematology and chemistry.Strong communication skills.Attention to detail.Critical thinking abilities.Teamwork and collaboration skills.Effective time management.Ability to adapt to changing environments.Work Environment
This position is based onsite in a core laboratory setting. The successful candidate will work closely with a collaborative team, ensuring effective communication and cooperation to successfully run validation samples and validate Sysmex instruments. The package includes 10 days of accrued PTO and 6 paid holidays.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
