Job Summary/Description:

CBS7 - the top-rated, long-time news leader in Odessa-Midland, TX - is looking for a REPORTER / MMJ to join our news team. You'll be responsible for pitching story ideas - plus shooting, writing, and editing them for on-air and online. You'll also be live on a regular basis. You should be able to write conversationally and quickly. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a television newsroom.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

* Pitching story ideas
* Shooting, writing and editing them for on-air and online
* You'll also be live on a regular basis
* Be able to write conversationally and quickly

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree in journalism
* An internship at a commercial TV newsroom
* A resume reel (this is a requirement to be considered)
* ENPS and Clickability Experience are a plus
