Functional Competencies

Must know overall Cocoa Architecture, iOS app Lifecycle, APIs and Framework. Real-world experience in developing iOS apps. Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store. Disclosing examples of work previously done would be highly recommended.

Knowledge and competencies

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines Experience with third-party libraries and APIs – Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN Candidate having exposure to unit testing, TDD and CI practices would be a plus

Hard skills

Proficient with Objective-C or Swift and Cocoa Touch Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle Hands on experience in the full life cycle of iOS application development Strong knowledge in RESTful web services Push Notifications & Toast
