Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Position is responsible for the coordination of daily logistics and operations of the Mobile Mammography Unit, including but not limited to medical supplies and equipment, vaccinations and medications, and vehicles maintenance and cleanliness. Provides support to operations supporting the Mobile Mammography Unit, acting on the values and mission of BMSH ; Serves as the on-site leader for all supplies, equipment, IT, and security needs.
Essential Job Functions
Establishes, manages, and troubleshoots all IT infrastructure needs on daily basis and escalates as appropriate
Coordinates planning and facilitating compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal standards, as applicable. Ensure compliance with system policy/procedure for all activities
Responsible for the scheduled maintenance (including winterization), mechanical integrity, safety checks and cleanliness of all mobile mammography unit.
Maintains vehicle cleanliness appropriate to a mobile hospital setting.
Prepares and drives to screening locations, arriving minimum of 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time to set up clinics (i.e., tables, chairs, canopies, signs, IT infrastructure, computers, printers, etc.)
Monitors safe functioning of the vehicles during clinic and site operations.
Reports any accident to police. Completes insurance forms
Assists with crowd control and patient flow during clinic or at sites. Observes and reports potential safety concerns while at clinic sites. Provides or calls for security as needed.
Greets and registers clients using patient Electronic Medical Record System, EPIC.
Returns vehicles to designated facility; adjusts settings and hook-ups, assures van is left clean, and secures locks. Returns keys to Security office.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.

Employment Qualifications
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: 4 year/ Bachelors Degree
Licensing/ Certification
Licensure/Certification Required:
Commercial Driver’s License B
Licensure/Certification Preferred: BLS
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 3-5 years’ driving experience
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1) Experience in driving vehicles greater than 30 feet in length. 2) Safe driving record, fewer than four points in a 6-month period. 3) Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to complete electronic data entry for patient registration
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in a patient care setting. Vehicle maintenance and mechanical knowledge strongly preferred.
