servicesJob SummaryThe Mobile Crisis Clinician rapidly responds to requests for crisis interventions in the community Referral sources include health care providers family members self referral police and other community members Performs telephone triage mobile crisis assessments risk assessments de escalation and safety planning Works with Emergency Medical Services facilitating referrals to emergency department community mentalsubstance abuse treatment and other linkages in the community The Mobile Crisis Clinician covers the towns of Meriden and Wallingford and serves individuals years of ageThis role is considered an essential employee and is required to provide coverage of holidays on a rotating basis and may be required to stay for mandatory shift coverage May respond to calls
