Complete Description:
The incumbent in this position serves as a Mobile Device Administrator for Tablets & Smart phones, including Android and iOS devices, for PennDOT. The Device Administrator will serve as a hardware, software, and OS specialist to deploy, manage, track, and audit mobile devices. The candidate will work within the Telecommunications Section and interface with the Mobile Device Management team and device users to build out the pilot into a comprehensive solution and coordinate full deployment, while assisting with mentoring PennDOT staff assigned to the project.
Specific Duties:
1.Develop, test, and document processes and procedures to test & certify smart phones & tablets with the MDM console.
2.Develop, test, and document processes & procedures to procure, configure, deploy, track, & audit mobile devices.
3.Develop, test, and document device tracking and inventory management.
4.Develop, test, and document device and software auditing.
5.Meet with IT staff and end users to gather business and system requirements.
6.Provide Technical Assistance and mentoring of PennDOT staff assigned to Mobile Devices.

iPad end user training experience
