Incumbent provides assistance with burial operations at the Louisiana State Veterans Cemeteries. Each cemetery consists of thirty (30+) acres of land with minimal of 12,122 graves sites for eligible veterans and dependents. Incumbent performs cemetery caretaking and interment related tasks required for operations of the cemetery. The required tasks include heavy equipment operation and manual labor. Incumbent receives direct supervision from the Horticultural Attendant Superintendent. NOTE: May be required to possess a valid Louisiana driver's license or commercial driver's license. Supervision Received: General from a Foreman, or other higher level maintenance, supervisory, or administrative personnel.
