About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Responsibilities Assure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed. Demonstrate proper work methods to subordinate staff. Determine proper arrangement, loading, and unloading of cargo. Locate, maintain or replace cables and slings used in rigging operations. Initiate recommendations for promotion or reassignment of subordinates. Answer questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions or other directives. Assure that material or parts are ordered and delivered to work sites so as not to delay work. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Mobile Equipment Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common Mobile Equipment Operator Supervisor duties which include: Operating of motorized equipment to include forklifts and wheel vehicles. I can drive, push or tow trucks, equipment and similar wheeled vehicles and direct or assist crane operator with tracked vehicles and assist in moving heavy items. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
