Mobile Equipment Repairer

Hourly Wage: $32.45

PRIMARY DUTIES

To make repairs, adjustments and installation to powered mobile equipmentChecks, repairs and adjusts powered mobile equipment such as trucks, automobiles, high lift trucks, manipulators, tractors, sweeper machine, lawn mowers and portable welders.Repairs and rebuilds motors, grinds and seat valves, replaces rings, pistons, bearings, connecting rods, transmission and differential gears, clutches, etc.  Adjusts and services carburetors, generators, starters, ignition system, lights and other gasoline engine auxiliary equipment.Installs axles, fenders, doors, etc.  Spray paints various parts of equipment as required.  Uses testing equipment to detect malfunctions of gasoline powered equipment.Lubricates gasoline powered vehicles and equipment as required.Keeps work area clean. Records work performed on standard form as required.
