This role involves diagnosing, repairing/replacing, and maintaining buses and automobiles across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with advanced automotive/diesel systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics and Repairs:

Conduct advanced troubleshooting of bus and automobile systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and HVAC systems.Repair and replace faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturer standards.

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.Inspect and maintain vehicle systems to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Travel and On-Site Support:

Travel to designated locations to provide on-site mechanical services.Collaborate with local teams to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed in MV’s Fleet Management System.

Talent Requirements:

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL FREQUENTLY.High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).Combination of at least five (5) years of verifiable training and experience in automotive and/or diesel mechanics.Extensive knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, diagnostics tools, and advanced vehicle systems.Ability to work independently and handle a diverse workload.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license required—CDL is a nice-to-have but not required.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 lbs).Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoors and in adverse weather conditions.
