**Overview** The Traveling Floor Cleaner is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. This position is full time day shift and requires about 50% overnight travel within Utah and out of state during the week and home on the weekends. **Essential Functions** + Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. + Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, Carpet Extraction, washing walls and glass, and cleaning hard surface floors. + Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems + Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. + Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities + Mobile cleaners must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. + Must be willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time. + Position is 50% Travel. Transportation and lodging provided. **Basic Qualifications:** + Must be 18 years of age or older + No experience required and on the job training provide + No high school diploma, GED or college degree required + Must be willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time + Must have a current Driver's license with no restrictions. **Responsibilities** + Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours + Drives vehicles (if required) to perform assigned scheduled work + Must pass background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) + Must have a current Driver's license with no restrictions. + May be expected to make basic repairs + Miscellaneous duties as assigned **Travel on the road to various assigned locations/ transportation and lodging provided.** + Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. + Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. + Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks + May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions + Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications + Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors + Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment + Gathers and empties trash + Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment + Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures + Services, deep cleans, and supplies restrooms + Periodically cleans overhead vents, dusts blinds, and polishes wood furniture + Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees + Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties + Opportunities for overtime and bonus pay + Able to work at heights above 9ft and less than 30ft **Pay:** $18.00 **Hourly Pay:** The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.
