Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $20 - $23 / hour This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. What you'll be doing as a Mobile Mechanic: * Oversees the operation of all Stockpile Belt Loaders and all other rolling stock to ensure that the equipment is operating efficiently. * Manages adequate inventory levels and catalogs all spare parts to ensure parts are onsite for timely repairs. * Develops plans with the help of the Plant Supervisor and/or Night Lead for efficient use of rolling stock and equipment maintenance. * Responsible for the safety of all employees. * Responsible for the timeliness, quality and training of subordinate employees. * Responsible for daily maintenance logs and information reporting * Responsible for the cleanliness of all shops. * Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. * Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. * Starts devices to test their performance. * Assures proper maintenance of all rolling stock * Fill out daily equipment check-off list. * Assist in keeping the working area clean and organized. * Know and understand IIPP, GMP, Lockout-Tagout, MSDS and Hazardous Materials manuals. * Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. * Dismantles devices to gain access to the device to repair or replace defective parts * Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. * Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. * Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. * Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. * Lubricates and cleans parts. * Starts devices to test their performance. * Initiates purchase order for parts and machines. * Repairs electrical equipment. * Fill out daily equipment check-off list. * Assists in keeping the working area clean and organized.
