General Summary
Mobile Ops Lead will work on physically verifying every piece of equipment that will be maintained under the contract, updating existing tags or applying new tags on it where required by DHA standards, and also administratively verifying, updating, or creating records for each piece in DMLSS. This will include taking photos of each item, researching OEM maintenance standards, and creating a "technical library" of all maintenance information related to each piece of equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and Lead the OMPR Team in executing a physical and administrative review of all installed equipment under the contract, meeting all relevant contract requirements within the specified time frame. Develop and submit deliverables per the contract requirements, including: daily, weekly, and bi-weekly reports; comparisons between records and actual conditions; plans and performance schedules for completing multiple simultaneous inventory tasks to take advantage of optimal access periods. Present best-practices to customer and gain concurrence for administrative method improvements. Develop easily accessible technical libraries, including information captured by the team using photographs and internet research. Assist assigned DMLSS clerks in identifying and inputting correct RPIE data. Provide Quality Control on the physical and administrative work of the OMPR Team, implementing existing QC plans or updating as required. Ensure the OMPR team is on-site during normal duty hours unless requested by the COR, to prevent a negative impact to the organization’s medical mission. Ensure the team follows all schedule and access restrictions. Develop long range team schedules and assign team members to jobs as appropriate. Train local technicians as temporary team members when necessary. Provide management support to the OMPR Team including timecard approval, travel claim review, etc.Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
Ability to effectively supervise a diversified work force responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of medical facility systems, and to effectively interface with difficult customers. Ability to develop clear written reports and be familiar and comfortable with spreadsheets. Valid Driver’s License and a Passport valid for at least 12 months. Able to obtain clearance for DMLSS access. Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand the English language.Work Experience
5 yrs Experience in commercial fire alarm, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or BAS Operator work. 3 yrs Experience in medical facility operations and maintenance. Demonstrated familiarity with DMLSS RPIE module.Education, Licenses and Certification
