Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Whether through research and development, technology innovation or solution engineering, our people play vital roles in connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities:** + Provide technical leadership and mentorship around testing, automation, and frameworks + Lead requirements and test design/case reviews, perform test case reviews with other team members + Develop and review test plans, and test coverage including scope definition, resource identification, risks, and schedule + Design, create, and maintain automation test scripts + Execute exploratory test scripts + Coordinate and manage a single application project from a test perspective, including assigned resources and testing progress + Gatekeeper for accepting code into an environment + Review progress with management/executives/stakeholders + Represent the test team in project status meetings and communicate issues appropriately + Define and implement new test strategies and best practices + Enhance overall management processes, including defect management + Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality goals and objectives + Mentor and support the growth of junior team members + ​​Involved with planning, conducting, and supervising projects/assignments, including evaluating results + Recommends changes in procedures **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 7 years of related experience; or 10 years related experience + 5+ years experience in STE II, or equivalent role **Skills and Qualifications:** + Advanced knowledge of software testing techniques, policies, and procedures + Advanced knowledge of testing tool sets such as ReadyAPI, Selenium, SoapUI, Appium, Java or similar tools + Extensive practical experience of testing methodologies required + Hands-on knowledge of SQL or other database query tools + Extensive practical experience of programming languages + Able to write, present information, and respond to questions from leadership, customers and business partners. + Able to represent the overall testing organization in a positive and intelligent manner + Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. + Ability to define, write and articulate requirements **Salary Ranges** Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year **Benefits** We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits . The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
