Job Description
We are seeking a Model-Based System Engineer with expertise in Cameo to develop and document demo scripts, architecture, component behaviors, and simulation environments for autonomous mission systems. The candidate will integrate algorithms and logic into a framework derived from Cameo Models utilizing Python.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document demo scripts through modeling techniques using Cameo.Create architecture for autonomous mission systems using Cameo.Develop component behavior specifications for autonomous systems using Cameo.Develop a simulation environment based on demo scripts using AFSIM.Integrate algorithms and logic into a framework derived from Cameo Models using Python.Conduct system architecture studies and work with open standards.Essential SkillsExperience building architectures and systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering approaches.Fluency with Cameo Systems Modeler.Experience with scripting languages (Python, Matlab, etc).Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.Strong decision-making skills and ability to work semi-autonomously.Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.Ability to influence others and create cohesive groups.Additional Skills & QualificationsPython programming experience.AFSIM development experience.RTI Connext / DDS experience.Experience with SOSA/FACE Open System Standards.Experience with DO-178/DO-254 for military compliance.MIL-STD-810 experience.Experience with electrical systems development.Experience supporting defense contracts.Experience with autonomous systems development.Mission planning experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
