Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Model Based Systems Engineer with a strong background in full-life cycle systems engineering. This role involves subsystem decomposition, requirements analysis, and multi-domain integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and a proven track record of leading cross-functional Agile teams and collaborating with government stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesPerform full-life cycle systems engineering tasks including subsystem decomposition, requirements analysis, and multi-domain integration.Lead and collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.Develop and present Test Readiness Review (TRR) materials and other design reviews.Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure project success.Utilize programming languages such as Matlab, C++, Verilog, and VHDL in software and hardware development.Apply expertise in maritime/naval and space systems development.Maintain excellent organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Essential Skills15+ years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).Proficiency in SysML, MagicDraw, and DOORS.Strong knowledge of software and hardware development, including Matlab, C++, Verilog, and VHDL.Hands-on experience with Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and other design reviews.Active Top Secret clearance with favorable eligibility for a TS/SCI.BS Degree in a relevant field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with maritime/naval and space systems development.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.Work Environment

Our Client offers a hybrid remote schedule, allowing for 1-2 days of remote work per week unless on-site presence is required for meetings. Engineers work on-site at the customer building on-base at APG in Aberdeen, with occasional travel to other sites such as NOVA, South, Midwest, and others. This role supports the Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) Program, which has a stable 5-year contract remaining. Full benefits, vacation accrual, paid holidays, and sign-on bonuses are offered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $91.00/hr.
