Responsibilities Arcfield is seeking a systems engineer with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / Digital Engineering and large-scale architecture experience to support a SETA program within the GEOINT ground system domain area. You will assist the customer in defining enterprise systems architecture strategy, providing leadership and technical guidance, and performing cross-discipline activities required to support enterprise architecture modeling, decision-making, and assessment of alternatives in relation to the customer's systems and initiatives. The ideal candidate has an understanding of modeling best practices and tools, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work with a team. The Selected Candidate Can Expect To: Work with leadership, mission Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and developers to model a complex enterprise system and services architecture. Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to identify architecture gaps/opportunities, perform detailed trade space analysis, model what-if scenarios, and develop models to simulate and analyze performance. Actively lead or participate in a variety of forums, including working groups, sessions with developers, and ground system engineering, integration, and readiness events. Author, review, maintain, and/or coordinate a variety of technical and acquisition artifacts, including strategies and roadmaps. Document and present ideas and recommendations. Facilitate knowledge transfer and technical collaboration with other teams. Function within the customer’s agile management environment by actively participating in agile planning processes and events, and identifying, managing, and statusing tasks and dependencies. Qualifications Required: BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7 Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly Experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including system acquisition, enterprise architecture, or systems engineering and integration Experience and ability to work collaboratively with mission partners and stakeholders across organizational boundaries Working understanding of the end-to-end Systems Engineering Process (INCOSE Vee) Proven experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML), architecture frameworks such as Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / Digital Engineering tools / environments (CAMEO, No Magic, Magic Draw, CASE, Rhapsody, or Sparx EA may be considered) Ability to organize, schedule, and accomplish a wide variety of tasks in a timely manner Desired: Experience with Jira and Confluence EEO Statement EEO Arcfield proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
