Job Title: Modeling and Simulation EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modeling and Simulation Engineer to conduct technical simulation analyses and assessments, develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools. The ideal candidate will support a variety of activities, including analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government, and provide instruction, supervision, and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises. Responsibilities + Conduct M&S activities in support of analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government. + Provide instruction, supervision, and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises. + Support live, constructive, and/or virtual training efforts. + Perform technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations. + Maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools. + Utilize RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models to visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas. Essential Skills + Proficiency with RF modeling and simulation software such as GIANT, GIANT RPM, Matlab, C++, Python, Builder, and Systems Toolkit (STK). + Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. + At least 10 years of related M&S experience (7 years for T4 position, 5 years for T3 position). + Current DoD issued Security Clearance. + Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with additional modeling and simulation programs. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment This position is located at Kirtland AFB. The work environment includes maintaining and operating system integration labs and utilizing various technologies and equipment to support simulation activities.
