We are seeking an Experienced Modification Project Technical Specialist to join our team in direct support of the C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program. This role involves acting as the main contact for contracts or projects and coordinating with senior personnel from various organizations. Key Responsibilities: + Represent the organization on significant matters and ensure integration across teams. + Plan, schedule, and manage your own activities to meet project objectives. + Develop solutions to complex problems and influence long-term goals. + Ensure work meets objectives upon completion. + Identify and solve hazardous working conditions and safety problems. + Maintain necessary qualifications and certifications, including passing Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals. Requirements: + Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance + Flexible hours, including overtime and occasional weekends. + 3+ years of experience in live aircraft operations and support, including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. + Experience in detecting hazardous conditions and ensuring safety. + Skills in managing resources, schedules, and parts availability. + Experience in project development, planning, and technical support for maintenance and repairs. Preferred Qualifications: + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. + 3+ years of experience with the C-17 platform. + Ability to analyze and develop maintenance plans. + Conduct maintenance debriefs and verify work performed. + Create and maintain metrics and implement corrective actions. + Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues. + Read and understand C-17 blueprints and USAF Technical Orders. + Experience with multi-system operations, maintenance, and repair. .
