Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Module Design/Development Test Lead to join our Module Development Section with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department as a test lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the test of RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products. This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development. This position requires a strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave Integration & Test.

What You Will Do:

Conduct testing on multi-channel RF Modules characterizing both receive and transmit behaviorMaintain and troubleshoot rackmount test stations and LabVIEW test scriptsConsult with RF module design and assembly teams

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 + years minimum experience in RF/Microwave modules.Experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)Experience with RF Testing, LabVIEW Scripting, Data AnalysisThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
