US Tech Force is seeking an experienced Mold Designer with expertise in PTC Creo to join a precision machine shop!

Mold Designer Key Responsibilities:

Utilize PTC Creo to design and develop high-precision molds, dies, and tooling based on engineering specifications. Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring manufacturability and design efficiency. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to refine and improve mold designs. Work closely with CNC programmers and machinists to ensure proper execution of mold designs. Modify and improve existing molds to enhance functionality and reduce production defects.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 3+ years of experience in mold design within a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in PTC Creo for mold and tooling design (Creo Parametric experience preferred). Strong knowledge of machining processes, including CNC milling, turning, and EDM. Experience with GD&T, blueprint reading, and material selection for molds.
