Temp-to-Hire position$20.02 to $22.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredThird ShiftKey Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and 5S policies.Perform weekly preventive maintenance on machines and tools, including lifting and securing molds with tools and equipment.Connect electrical, hydraulic, and cooling systems to molds.Set and adjust plastic material parameters, including temperatures, shot size, injection speed, and pressures.Execute tool changes safely and efficiently using crane and Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.Ensure molding processes follow established guidelines to meet quality standards.Conduct quality control testing and inspections before and during production cycles.Maintain equipment, report damages, and recommend improvements.Mold Setup Technician Qualifications:
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience considered.1-3 years of injection molding and manufacturing experience.Forklift certification (training provided) and 1 year of overhead crane experience.Strong understanding of machinery, material purging, and color changes.Proven ability to troubleshoot and implement safety, quality, and productivity improvements.Physical ability to perform tasks including prolonged standing, frequent lifting (50 lbs), and operating tools requiring force (75 lbs).Flexibility to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills
