**Job Title: Mold Setup Tech** **Job Description** Position involves changing out molds in injection molding machines. The role requires operating large plastic injection machines and using overhead cranes. The process is mechanical, involving fitting molds to machines and connecting necessary hoses and fittings. When not changing molds, you will perform minor maintenance on molds with the maintenance department. You will also be responsible for activities related to Quality and Safety within the Setup department and for the daily mold change and preparation. **Responsibilities** + Change out molds in large plastic injection machines using overhead cranes. + Fit molds to machines and hook up all necessary hoses and fittings. + Perform minor maintenance on molds with the maintenance department. + Ensure quality and safety within the Setup department. + Prepare for and execute daily mold changes. **Essential Skills** + Mechanic experience + Mold or die setting experience + Machine setup experience + Ability to read blueprints + Knowledge of CNC, hydraulics, lathe, and mechanical repair + Troubleshooting skills + Experience using calipers and mills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude + Preferred: Mold setting or stamping die setting experience + Transferable skills from maintenance mechanics, automotive mechanics, or low-level maintenance techs **Why Work Here?** Our company promotes from within and values ambition, eagerness, and personality. Steel-toed boots are required for this role. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.50/hr.
