While reporting to the Shift Supervisor as the Mold Changer you will be responsible for the safety of oneself and fellow employees.

What You'll Be Doing:

Directs and executes mold changes per the production schedule and all emergency mold changesResponsible for the proper set-up of all molds and related functions such as knockout, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc., for foam molding machinesSet parameters of the molding press to the process verification sheet if applicableRepair any fluid or air leaks relating to the moldResponsible for the pulling and resetting of all mold halves, specifically for the purpose of mold repairResponsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of all mold carrying trucksResponsible for the installation and removal of all auxiliary equipment from the molding floorResponsible for the orderly appearance of all mold-setting supplies including the removal of all supplies from the molding machine and immediate areaAdherence to all quick mold change policiesEnsure all documentation is completed, submitted, and filed in a timely mannerAssist with start-up of presses as requiredPerform maintenance and minor repairs on/to moldsMaintains cleanliness of areasPerforms all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safetyParticipate in all safety initiativesFollow good manufacturing practicesOvertime required at times
