Job Title: Mold Technician

Job Description

As a Mold Technician, you will work with a global leader in creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture. You will play a vital role in the production of essential products for notable customers such as Pepsi, Heinz, and baby formula companies. You will work a 2-2-3 day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM.

ResponsibilitiesPlan, lay out, and perform all bench, machine, and finishing operations required to alter and condition intricately designed and constructed plastic injection molding dies and related fixtures.Work from special instructions to maintain or alter molds to achieve improvements to the original design.Monitor mold performance and inspect your own work or work performed by other tool workers.Operate all Toolroom machines.Perform difficult machine setups and operations that require improvising of tools and machines for adaptation beyond the normal range and capacities of available equipment.Instruct Toolmakers, Machinists, and Technicians in their duties, including training new employees.Attend and participate in design reviews.Essential Skills5 years of experience in the fieldAbility to understand and read blueprintsBasic computer operation skills with current software operating systems and programsAbility to work alone with minimal direct supervision

Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with mold troubleshooting, mold setup, mold change, mold maintenance, and mold repair.Knowledge of injection molding machines and injection molded plastic parts.Skills in tool and die, tool maintenance, and tool repair.Experience with injection blow molding and injection moldingPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00

- Coverage starts the 1st day of the following month after date of hire.
