We are seeking a skilled Set Up Technician to effectively perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule. This role involves preventive maintenance on molds, troubleshooting and repairing machine components, and setting up molding machines and ancillary equipment. The ideal candidate will work safely and efficiently, actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities, and perform other assigned duties.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mold and version changes according to the production schedule.Conduct preventive maintenance on molds, including lubrication, minor repairs, and identifying worn or damaged parts.Troubleshoot and make repairs to machine components.Set up molding machines and ancillary equipment related to the molding process.Work safely and efficiently using all required personal protective and safety equipment.Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities, promoting and sustaining CI, 5S, and STW activities.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude.2-5 years of plastic molding experience.Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting skills.Electrical troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHS Diploma or EquivalentExperience with machine operating, mold, plastic, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.Ability to set up machines and perform mechanical tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Large, spacious manufacturing environment with a hot plastic smell and loud noise levels. The work schedule follows a 2x2x3 pattern with shifts from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
