The estimated hourly base pay rate for this position in US - Chicago can be found in the JOB INFO section below This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual short-term incentive bonus, subject to eligibility criteria.

Join Our Team as a Mold Technician!

In this job you will provide technical support to a variety of molding machine. You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous productive activity, and must meet requirements. Tasks require a high degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion. You will frequently use hand and power tools. As a Mold Machine Technician, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. 

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up molds to prepare them for production cycle.Perform painting operations on intellirupter parts and sensorsAssemble upper and middle sensorsUnderstand operation and PM requirements on various machinesAbility to use UV lighting chamber for identifying bad mixSuccessfully troubleshoot intermediate equipment issuesPerform sandblasting operations as requiredAbility to start and shut off mold machine following proper sequencingAbility to perform vacuum sequence after changing materialIn this job you will be required to participate in a medical surveillance program coordinated by S&C’s health service professionals.

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

Experience operating and setting up mold machinesAbility to use basic math and measuring toolsAbility to work from blue prints, ordinary drawings and specifications.Ability to use a variety of hand-held tools and air-impact tools.

Relevant Experience Required: 

At least 2 years of mold machine experience
