**Molding Process Technician** Pay Rate - $30/hr. **Job Description** The Molding Process Technician tends to several injection molding machines and industrial robots to mold plastic components to specifications. This position requires the ability to plan and perform a sequence of operations while making major decisions involving the running or stopping of molds and machines. This position also supports the training of new Molding Process Technician Trainees in injection molding processing as well as assisting in the development of the trainees' understanding of internal processes and procedures. **Responsibilities** + Complete daily PM checklists on assigned machines. + Set up machines, heater boxes, cooling systems, valve gate systems, and robotics to achieve maximum operating efficiencies. + Set up molding processes using decoupled molding principles and developed process control limits. + Maintain quality parts by adjusting machine controls using decoupled molding principles. + Run samples of color, material, or process as required. + Monitor machine parameters on Mattec system to ensure process compliance. + Drive forklift in/out of doors to move material, production, and molds as needed. + Enter production data in computer and analyze data. + Fill out charts and other reports and generate checklists. + Perform Molding Associate duties during 1st article inspection process. + Use adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers and various gauges. + Understand molding of various plastic materials as well as hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical maintenance. + Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/lead. + Follow all work rules and policies. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of process tech experience within injection mold equipment. + Ability to work on a weekend day. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with troubleshooting, mold production, and mechanical molding. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and development. Weekend shifts also available with differential pay. The facility requires attention to safety protocols and a commitment to quality. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Grandview, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $64480.00/yr.
