Responsibilities Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk.Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable lawsActively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritized corrective and preventive actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health or safety risks.Start-up and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.Maintain steady uninterrupted supply of colorant and material to the machines.Maintain foil supply on hot stamping equipment.Give breaks as necessary.Production demands may fluctuate and require a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime as needed, every effort will be made to give adequate notice while scheduling employee’s work schedule.Must communicate with on-coming and off-going Mold Techs to give and receive specific instructions and quality information.Work closely with Packer Handlers, Machine Operators and Team Leaders to alert Shift Supervisor of any quality issues or conditions.Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance personnel concerning machine operations and any malfunctions. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Preferred 2-4-year college or technical degreeMust have good mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of injection molding machinery and processes preferredAbility to organize and prioritize work activities for self and others, and to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to utilize a variety of computer software (Microsoft products preferred)Excellent communication, investigation, coaching and mentoring experienceSix Sigma training preferredBe able to sit and stand for long periods of time.Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend and reach to perform necessary job functions.Previous skills in operation of forklift, overhead crane, scissor lift and pallet jack.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts when coverage is needed Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
