What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a customer-oriented Money Market Confirmations and Settlements Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the confirmation and settlement of money market transactions. This role requires a strong background in banking operations, particularly in settlements and clearing, along with exceptional customer service skills.
What will you do?
Verify and confirm money market transactions with counterparties to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
Manage the settlement and clearing process for money market transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Liaise with internal departments and external counterparties to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to transactions.
Maintain accurate records of all confirmations and settlements for audit and reporting purposes.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Monitor and adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the confirmation and settlement operations.
What you need to succeed?
Previous experience (3+ years) in banking operations, specifically in settlements and clearing, is required.Proven ability to manage and reconcile financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong understanding of money market instruments and related regulatory requirements.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in relevant financial software and systems.What’s in it for you?
