Job Summary
As a Telemetry Technician Manager, you track patient heart data with telemetry monitors. You also document and respond to critical situations. Administrative tasks and managing roles are included. The position involves caring for patients of all ages.
Essential Functions of the Role
Keep a constant watch and document heart rhythm patterns for all patients using telemetry, strictly adhering to established guidelines.Ensure the accurate maintenance of dysrhythmia documentation and flow sheets.Execute the technical aspects of cardiac monitoring in line with established guidelines while accommodating patients' unique needs.Take on a leading role in the assigned unit or department.Engage in direct coordination and evaluation of the telemetry staff to ensure delivery of top-quality patient care.Foster efficient patient monitoring by creating collaborative relationships within relevant units and departments.Establish and delegate activities according to patients' needs, prioritizing efficient patient monitoring.Display exceptional communication skills to promptly share data derived from assessments and act as a patient advocate.Oversee the availability and functionality of all equipment and supplies in your workspace.Serve as a support system or resource for new staff and floating team members.Key Success Factors

EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma or GED EquivalentEXPERIENCE - (3) three years of experience
