Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan Joint Commission and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Provides all clerical services for a nursing unit including guest relations for families visitors and hospital personnel.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Current BLS (AHA)Hospital/medical terminology experience.Computer literacy required.Able to interpret dysrhythmias on the cardiac monitor.High School Diploma or equivalent technical training.Must pass pre-hire dysrhythmia test.Preferred Skills:
Acute care is preferred.Special Skills:
Must pass annual dysrhythmias test.Ability to have a courteous and professional manner in regard to accomplishing responsibilities.Ability to act with self-direction and able to take initiative.Ability to problem solve.Willingness to work with all staff members toward unit goals.Must have the ability to read write and speak English.Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
