Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Responsibilities Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients; identify various cardiac arrhythmias and detect heart rhythm/rate variations Interpret cardiac rhythm and document in the patient’s medical record according to the departmental standards. Ensure appropriate and timely response to alarms. Follow escalation process to ensure optimal patient care Ensure correct patient identification information on all assigned telemetry monitors Troubleshoot telemetry problems and assist the nursing staff with the same Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Job Requirements: Monitor Tech, EKG, Patient care experience
