The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the monitor screen of the telemetry console and for identifying and reporting cardiac arrhythmias/dysrhythmias.

· Completes all mandatory educational requirements, attends 75% of unit staff meetings and reviews all meeting minutes if meeting is not attended.

· Accurately identifies cardiac arrhythmias in 2 leads (Lead II and MCL) and all pacer rhythms.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· High School education or equivalent.

· Prior experiences as a Monitor Technician OR completion of a Novice arrhythmia or similar course acceptable to the facility.

· Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
