Apply sales and lead generation experience developing customer and vendor relationships to increase Monument revenue. Responsible for sales life-cycle including sourcing products and vendors, generating leads, coordinating campaigns, designing, delivering, and attaining revenue goals for territory.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Generation
Responsible for attaining revenue goalsDevelop a plan to increase sales revenue and reduce missed opportunitiesImplement sales plans, programs, and campaigns into operational sales actionsConsult with client families on monument materials, quality, dimensions, and design. Provide and review drawings and designs with client family for review, revision, and approval. Provide regular updates to client familiesMaintain professional and trusted relation to develop future leads.Obtain or visit cemeteries to confirm land map, ground size, and obstaclesCollaborate with vendor on monument design, features, and family needs. Review drawings and design from manufacturer. Following client family approval, process order, obtain and record payments, update electronic record keeping systemsManage vendor delivery and installation, inspecting product upon receipt. Coordinate delivery and installation with CemeteryMay present monument product information at local community seminarsVendor Management
Develop professional business relationships with monument vendorsUnderstand vendor product, service, quality, and delivery reputation; negotiate contract; and manage vendor accordinglySource new products and vendors making recommendationsDevelop business relations with Cemeteries to facilitate monument development and family referralsAdministration
Review invoices, approve payments, and process for paymentRun sales reports and submit monthly sale for bonuses through processing channelsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related discipline a plusLicenses
Obtain and maintain insurance license as required by state/provinceCurrent state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordExperience
At least five (5) years sales experience with a proven record of achieving sales revenue quota and developing leadsCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience running and analyzing reportsIndustry experience a plusDesign and or AutoCAD experience a plusKnowledge of granite materials and application a plusKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to travel locally within geographic territory requiredAvailable to work evenings and weekendsDemonstrated knowledge of sales cycle, sales techniquesAccurate math skillsAbility to think on feet providing options to client familyProficient computer skills including MS office suitePublic speaking skills; professional demeanor and communication skillsProfessional attire required when meeting with clients or representing the companyAbility to lift 50 pounds; push/pull over 50 poundsHourly pay range:
