Job Title: Trail Groomer
Location: Morgan Arboretum, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC

Job Type: Seasonal, December 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025
Compensation: $19.00-23.00

Hours of work: Irregular - depending on snowfall

Position Overview:
As a Trail Groomer, you will be responsible for operating specialized grooming equipment to ensure our ski trails are safe, smooth, and ready for guests. You will work closely with our field staff and management team to create the best possible conditions for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Key Responsibilities:Operate snow grooming equipment to maintain cross country and snowshoe trails.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on grooming equipment.Monitor snow conditions and adjust grooming plans based on weather, traffic, and safety concerns.Ensure the trails are safe and visually appealing for visitors.Work early morning shifts to prepare trails before the resort opens to guests.Report any mechanical issues, safety hazards, or damage to equipment.Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.Assist in other trail operation tasks as needed, such as clearing trails of debris and fallen trees, snow removal, and trail maintenance.Qualifications:Previous experience operating snow grooming equipment is preferred but not required (training will be provided).Experience and comfort operating a chainsaw.Strong understanding of snow conditions and grooming techniques is an asset.Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on grooming equipment.Ability to work in all weather conditions, including cold temperatures and snowstorms.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.A strong focus on safety and attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, weekends, and holidays.

High School Diploma Minimal or No Related Experience

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE A) $19.00
