Summary
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, keeps hospital morgue and autopsy room equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Brings the remains of deceased patients to the morgue. Releases bodies to authorized persons, and performs related duties as required.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE: The following are duties performed by employees in this classification. However, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in this classification.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience: Six months of recent experience in a morgue or mortuary, assisting in the preparation of bodies for burial desired. Required Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid California State Driver's License.
