**Job Description**
The Morino Grill Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Morino Grill, ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, and efficient restaurant management in the stunning setting of Denali National Park. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory, enforcing health and safety regulations, and providing a positive work environment for the team.
**About Denali National Park & Preserve and Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture:** ?
Summer days in Alaska stretch nearly endlessly, with up to 20 hours of daylight on the Summer Solstice. Spanning 6.2 million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and attracts over half a million visitors annually. Conveniently accessible by road?4.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks.
Doyon Limited and Aramark have teamed up in a Joint Venture as the Denali National Park & Preserve's Concessionaire. Open May to September, our operation manages the transportation, retail, guest service and food and beverage concessions with our client; The National Park Service. By road, our 100 Blue Bird Bus Fleet takes guests past the 15-mile public access point daily during summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp where few people have set foot.
_This is a seasonal role with ideal dates of April 24 - September 24, 2025._
Employees are responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by Dept. Managers during EMS training.

**Job Responsibilities**
+ **Restaurant Operations:** Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality standards.
+ **Staff Leadership:** Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house employees, fostering a strong team culture.
+ **Guest Experience:** Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
+ **Financial Management:** Monitor sales, control labor costs, and manage food costs to meet budget goals.
+ **Inventory & Ordering:** Maintain stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper food storage and handling.
+ **Health & Safety Compliance:** Enforce sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety regulations per local and national guidelines.
+ **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including HR and Food & Beverage leadership, to support overall company goals.

**Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in restaurant or food service management (2+ years preferred).
+ Strong leadership and team-building skills.
+ Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with a flexible schedule.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Experience in a remote or national park setting is a plus.
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
+ Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
