Requirements

High school diploma or GEDSuccessful completion of a nursing assistant programA current, valid state certification and in good standingCertified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-rayMinimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required (unless participating in an approved Mentor Program)Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobileWorks as a team member.

The CNA works under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations or RNCM and is responsible for following the Home Health Aide Plan of Care. The CNA is responsible for providing client care services in accordance with the individualized physician ordered plan care. The CNA is responsible for observing clients, reporting these observations to RNCM, and documenting observations and care performed.

A Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is a person certified to practice nurse aide services by the State Board of Nursing and will provide services in accordance with the Nursing Standards of Practice and must be certified by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
