Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Mortgage Loan Compliance Specialist based in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The individual will be a crucial part of our team, dealing with customer applications, maintaining records, and resolving inquiries in the mortgage industry. This role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and implementing necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Processing mortgage applications from customers with accuracy and efficiency • Maintaining precise records related to customer's credit and mortgage • Resolving any inquiries or issues raised by customers regarding their mortgage • Monitoring the status of customer accounts and implementing necessary actions • Compliance with industry regulations and standards • Utilizing the Automated Underwriting System for processing applications • Managing closing processes and ensuring the completion of appraisals • Understanding and applying knowledge of commercial lending practices • Utilizing NMLS and other computer programs effectively for mortgage processing • Ensuring credit compliance in all transactions. Requirements • The applicant must have more than a year of experience serving as a Mortgage Loan Compliance Specialist. • Working knowledge of loan applications, closing, and servicing documents as well as financing terminology. • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and person to person. • Assisting Compliance team members with licensing annual reports, NMLS Filings, and renewals as needed. • Familiarity with Automated Underwriting Systems is necessary. • Filing of Corporate Quarterly and Annual Reports. • Proficiency in various computer programs is a must. • Files confidential company and personal information with Federal and State Regulatory authorities as required. • Bachelor's Degree. • Compliance is a significant part of this role, so the candidate must have experience in it. • Possession of an NMLS license is mandatory for the applicant.
