ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

This individual will be responsible for supporting assigned Mortgage Loan Officers with the day-to-day operations and sales activities of residential mortgage lending.   

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assemble application data, and submit complete package to processing/set upAssist in the day-to-day processing, document tracking and gathering/forwarding of all required documents as it relates to mortgage originationsPrioritize and route incoming sales calls, as well as any customer correspondencePrimary liaison with all levels of origination/support staff, Key employees, and any external contactsFollows up with clients on missing or supporting documentation needed to complete applicationProvides loan officer with sales support for marketing to past clients and COI's, including mailers, flyers and email blitzesPrepares presentations, and marketing materials, for meetings and special eventsMaintain Weekly Pipeline calls with support staff, as well as managing to rate lock expirationsReviews appraisals, and mortgage loan commitments with loan officersReviews loan amounts, values, and any required outstanding conditions, that are warranted to move the loan to closingEnsures movement of loans through pipelinePulls various production reports for monthly review of loan officer, district, and branch goalsCoordinates meetings and training sessions on behalf of sales manager/loan officerMust adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, Key’s Compliance Policy and external compliance requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalency requiredMinimum two years banking experience, with an emphasis on mortgage sales and operationsA working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, local and state real estate and finance laws.Proficient in sales and service skills; including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking and COI relationship managementProven success working in fast-paced, high volume environmentsDemonstrated knowledge of purchase lending requirements and documentationStrong administrative, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail Oriented, with Strong Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust have ability to work independently, and to manage loan origination pipeline to deadline datesCommitment to superior customer service, with a high level of confidentialityExtensive knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures for mortgage sales

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $19-22 per hour. Compensation for this role also includes short-term incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
