Mortgage Loan Originator I cultivates mortgage loans and other business for the bank through relationship development with realtors, builders, title companies and others within the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Originates mortgage loan applicationsNegotiates terms and rates of the loansObtains customers’ vital information and provides expert advice relative to product optionsProvides all required disclosures and notices to customers in compliance with all mortgage related regulationsSecures interest rate lock-ins with investors Manages pipeline so as to protect the bank from interest rate riskEnsures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications
