This is an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio while contributing to impactful projects that will be showcased to clients and audiences worldwide. We are looking for someone curious and creative, digging into the details of the project to best communicate messages to the target audience.   The person in this position will:  + Create custom digital display content for use in customer demonstrations. + Assist with developing pre-designed content for customers to build content from. + Provide design support for marketing efforts, potentially including renderings, proposals, advertisements, graphics and other marketing materials. + Collaborative with marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure requests align with strategic goals. + Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for dynamic display content. Where is this opportunity located?    We have a strong preference for this individual to reside near our corporate headquarters in the Brookings, SD area to have the ability to report to our Brookings, SD campus throughout the week. Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a home office on days when there is not a need to be on campus.     Pay and Perks    The typical hiring range for this position is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour based on the location of the candidate. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation. Students with GPA of 3.5 and above may be eligible for a $500 Academic Excellence Reward for each spring and fall semester completed while employed. Additional conditions may apply. Qualifications Academic Requirements: + Must be enrolled as a student and registered in at least 12 credits in an accredited bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field. + The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.   + Only strong academic performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.   + Must maintain an acceptable GPA.   + Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.     Other Requirements:    + Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.      + Fluent in English, both written and verbal.       + Good oral and written communication. Good organizational skills. Self-motivated and flexible with a desire to work as a team player. Attention to detail is a must.     + Enthusiasm for learning and working on new projects and flexibility to ever-changing priorities and responsibilities.     + General computer skills, including accurate keyboarding and the ability to learn and navigate new software and tools.     + Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. + Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position.
