**Your New Role**
This internship will be located in the LA area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.
The WBD Motion Pictures Monetization Technology intern will serve an integral role in helping the department document requirements, build, test, and launch single-user to enterprise scale business applications with a unique mix of business and technology know-how as part of the Theatrical Marketing and Distribution Technology team as well as work with operations teams as they use these systems to launch and distribute WB's theatrical releases.
The summer intern will be working on supporting active projects across the Motion Pictures Technology Portfolio:
+ A new project where this role assists in Business Analysis and Project Management to launch a new marketing planning and purchasing system.
+ Ad-hoc design and development initiatives across Theatrical Technology.
**Your Role Accountabilities**
_Business Analysis (assisting Lead Business Analyst)_
+ Meet with key business stakeholders and develop requirements based on their needs.
+ Create detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, architecture, and testing procedures.
+ Participate/Lead testing efforts, including documentation and walkthroughs with users.
+ Create/Lead presentations to WBD Technology and Business Unit leaders.
_Project Management (assisting Project Manager)_
+ Work with Development team to implement documented requirements into business applications.
+ Prioritize requirements on behalf of the business to be implemented.
+ Work with Project team to develop cost and time estimates for development efforts.
+ Write business cases for leadership to justify priority funding of projects.
+ Tracking risks, issues, and managing mitigation plans.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficient.
+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
+ Must be a confident individual who is a quick learner and self-starter.
+ Ability to write organized and detailed documents.
+ An interest in the film industry or marketing.
+ Must be actively enrolled in a n accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required )
+ Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
+ Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
+ Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
**What to know before applying:**
The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks .
Program date options:
+ Option 1: June 2 nd – A ugust 1 5 th
+ Option 2: June 9 th – August 2 2 nd
+ Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a **hybrid capacity** .
+ Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
+ Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

_In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns._
